Delmarva: Still Time Left To Register To Vote

Posted: Updated:

WMDT 47 NEWS - There is still time left to register to vote.

Delaware officials say residents have until Friday, Oct. 13, if they want to vote in the national election.  One easy way to register to vote is to go on www.elections.delaware.gov and mail in a form.  Also, officials say to make sure to turn in your current address so you will know exactly where to vote.  Polling locations can be found online.

Maryland officials say that new or currents registers who are changing an address, name or party affiliation have until Tuesday, Oct. 16.  Residents can go to a local MVA (if needed to update driver's license), go to a local board of election or print out an application online and mail it back to the appropriate address.

Virginia residents have until that Monday, Oct. 15.  Residents can go to their local DMV, health department, public library or social services.  But again, the easiest way is to download an application online and mail back to local offices.
