Survey Shows Parents Make Mistakes With Car Seats

WMDT 47 News - A new survey by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration shows 20% of parents fail to read instructions on how to properly install safety restraints.

With car crashes being the leading killer of children 1 to 12 years old in the United States, local safety officials hope to bring numbers down with free child seat inspections. For a list of safety checks in your area, go to www.safekids.org.
