OCEAN CITY, Md. - Some of Ocean City's fabulous homes are opening their doors to the public Thursday and Friday, to raise money for the city's art league. The "Sand Castle Home Tour" showcases 10 houses, like the one you see to the right, plus a bonus condo.
Inside, visitors will go on a self-guided walk through. But volunteers will be inside to provide information about the residence. Proceeds will be used toward the construction of the new art league building.
Ocean City Art League President, Rina Thaler, says "this is our 8th year of doing the home tour, um, the money that we raise through the tour, is what has enabled us to construct this new building."
The league provides one-thousand tickets and they are going fast! They cost just $30 and you can find an order link on our website. The new art league building is expected to open early next year.
