LAUREL, Del. - A man has been arrested in connection with a Monday morning shooting in Laurel. Delaware State Police say that they took Rihem Frisby, 20 of Laurel, into custody at his probation officer's office on Tuesday.

Police say that during Monday's incident, Frisby pointed a gun at a man who was sitting on his car, and allegedly demanded the victim to hand over everything he had. The victim told police that he did as he was told, when Frisby tried to "pistol whip" him, but he ducked and started to run. As he was running away, Frisby reportedly fired the gun, hitting the victim in the back. The victim was able to make it into a building, before collapsing and calling for help.

He is listed in stable condition at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. Frisby is charged with 1st degree attempted murder, 1st degree robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a person prohibited. He is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $255,000 cash bond.
