POCOMOKE CITY, Md. - Daniel Charles Trader, 63 of Pocomoke City, died on Sunday, September 16, 2012, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. Born Sunday, August 14, 1949 in Nassawadox, Virginia, he was a son of the late William Trader and the late Virginia Fisher Trader. A graduate of Atlantic High School, Mr. Trader served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and continued in the Army Reserve National Guard, retiring in 1995, as a Sgt. First Class.

Surviving are his daughter, Danielle T. Simpkins (Chris), one grandson, Logan Simpkins, all of Harleysville, PA, a brother, E. Paige Trader of New Church, VA, a sister, Gwynn Ayres (Donald) of Melfa, VA, one uncle, P.D. Fisher (Nancy) of Oak Hall, VA, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke City, where family and friends will gather one half hour prior to the service. Interment, with military honors, will follow in Downing's Cemetery in Oak Hall, VA. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 107 Vine Street, Pocomoke City, MD 21851.
