DOVER, Del. - Dover authorities have officially ruled a September 17th death investigation a homicide.
A woman told Dover Police, that she had been abducted from a home on Acorn Lane, but was later released without being hurt. The victim also told police that a man at the home where she was taken from was assaulted during the invasion.
When police came to the residence, they found the 59-year-old Michael Gklostos dead inside. Police say that the official cause of death was asphyxia by neck compression, also known as strangulation.
Nearby residents say there's been so much activity in the area that they're in fear for their safety.
"I actually ended up bringing my 12 gauge from my grandparents house because I'm the only man in the house," says Joseph Novak. "It's me, my mom, my girl and my sister and if someone comes in my house they're getting shot."
Police say that they are still looking for the man pictured to the right. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call Dover Police at 302-736-7111 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
