Salisbury City Council Moves Forward With Police Salaries

The final budget amendment for a pay increase for Salisbury City police was held Monday. The city council voted to move forward with the more than $400,000 in funding. Police Chief Barbara Duncan says the money will allow them to give several officers well deserved pay raises. She says it will also help them keep officers on the force, in the last few months, they've lost five because of the low pay.
