Brandon Alston
SEAFORD, Del. - A Seaford man is being held on more than $180,000 bond after allegedly pulling a gun on police officers. According to Seaford Police, they arrived on North Street, looking for a Silver Dodge Magnum, that was apparently involved with a shooting.
Police say they found the car on 3rd Street, with a person in the passenger seat. As officers were investigating, 31-year-old Brandon Alston apparently armed with a handgun, reportedly ran out of a nearby house. An officer on the scene says that Alston pointed the gun at the officer, who in turn fired three shots at him, but missed. Officers were able to catch up with Alston and arrest him. Police say that they found a fully loaded .38 caliber revolver handgun at the scene.
That investigation showed that Alston was supposed to be driving a friend to a store, when he drove to North Street instead and fired two shots at a home with several people outside of it, and then drove back to his house, where police caught up with him.
Alston was charged with a slew of offences, including possession of a firearm during commission of felony, possession of firearm by person prohibited, resisting arrest with force, and kidnapping. He is being held by the Department of Corrections on $184,000 bond.
