Drunk Driver Arrested After Crashing Car Into Delaware Home

HARTLEY, Del. - A drunk driver rams his car into the side of a house in Hartly early Saturday morning.    

It happened shortly after 3:30 when 34-year-old Marvin Vasquez of Marydel drove through a fence and struck the corner of a house on Downes Drive.    

Residents say this wasn't the first time they saw a car drive through their yard.

"There's been four different times that people have been in the yards with the cars coming down Route 8," said Gary Cable. "They ain't very careful and they come too fast trying to make that corner there.  [Previously] they wiped out the electric box."    

No one was injured in this incident and the structural integrity of the house is unknown.    Vasquez faces a long list of charges including driving under the influence of alcohol.
