Slight Improvement In Retails Sales In August

WMDT 47 NEWS - Consumers may have been feeling generous last month, because retail sales improved.

Economists say purchases climbed 0.8 percent, matching the July advance. Not to mention, auto sales have seen a boost as well. Cars and light trucks sold at a 14.5 million annual rate in August. That's said to be the industry's strongest month since 2009.
