Fundraiser To Support Hudson Family Farm's Legal Fees

WEST OCEAN CITY, Md. - The Worcester County Farm Bureau is hoping you come out to support a local farm in the middle of a lawsuit. They are holding a fundraiser on October 13th from 12 until 4pm at Hoopers Crab House in West Ocean City.

The money raised will support the Hudson's Family Farm with the legal fees they are facing. You may remember the Waterkeeper Alliance and Assateague Coastkeeper are suing the Hudson Farm and Perdue over pollution concerns. However, farm groups say the suit could bankrupt the Berlin farm and set a harmful precedent for other family farms.
