Human Trafficking Charges Filed Against Vienna Man, Woman

VIENNA, Md. - Maryland State Police say a mentally challenged woman has been raped in Dorchester County: one suspect sits behind bars while another made bail.   

Dawn Boyd, 46, and  Bryant Lake, 39 have both been arrested and charged.    

Police say Boyd forced the 19-year-old victim to have sex with Lake in exchange for drugs.     Boyd, who is being held on bond, now faces the following charges: 2nd degree rape; human trafficking in compensation, benefit to finance and aid and abetting; false imprisonment; and 2nd degree assault    

Lake, who is free on bond, has been charged rape, sex offense and related charges.
