Quarter Auction Planned To Benefit Fruitland Fire Department

Posted: Updated:

FRUITLAND, Md - How would you like to play four rounds of golf for just a buck? Or get your oil changed for just a quarter? These are just a couple of the items up for bid at the 2nd annual Fruitland Ladies Auxiliary's Quarter Auction on Saturday, September 15. The best part: no bids are higher than four-quarters.

Auction Chairperson Danielle Vogt says, "you should come out 'cause you're gonna have a great time. The Ladies Auxiliary directly benefits the Fruitland Fire Department . . . We provide gear and equipment that the gentleman and ladies may need or anything else."

Doors open at 5PM at the Fire House, auction starts at 6PM. Organizers say they will also have food, door prizes and a 50/50.

If you're looking for a good meal Friday, the Ladies Auxiliary is holding a luncheon at the Fire House starting at 11AM. The event runs until they sell out of food.
