West Nile Cases Expected To Decline

Posted: Updated:

WMDT 47 News - Health officials say it looks like we may have seen the worst of the West Nile virus cases. They also expect the number of cases to start declining. The Centers for Disease Control says this year's West Nile outbreak has been the most serious since we first learned about the virus in 1999.

As of September 11th, more than 2,600 illnesses have been reported, including 118 deaths.
