FELTON, Del. - Delaware State Police are on the hunt for three suspects after a man was shot during a home invasion in Felton.
Police say five people were sleep inside a home on Central Drive when around 4:00 a.m. Tuesday morning three suspects broke in through the front door armed with guns. One of the suspects allegedly fired off a round in the house and took a female victim's cell phone. Police say the suspects then demanded a safe that was located in the house. But before they fled with the safe police say the suspects fired several shots at a 22-year-old male victim.
The victim, who was hit twice in his leg, was taken to Kent General Hospital to be treated for his injuries. No word on his condition. Police say no other victims in the house were injured during the incident.
Police say the three suspects were no disguised and were later identified as the following: 27-year-old Abdul White of Dover, 36-year-old Roger Jones of Magnolia and 55-year-old John Tribbett of Felton. All three men face multiple charges including attempted first-degree murder and first degree robbery.
