Man Dies Days After Single-Vehicle Crash In Laurel

LAUREL, Del. - Delaware State Police say a man injured when his pickup truck hit a tree has died.
    
Troopers say 66-year-old Jerry Mitchell of Laurel died Monday at Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where he was flown after the Sept. 5 accident.
    
Police say Mitchell was driving a pickup truck south on Little Hill Road in Laurel when the vehicle left the road, went into a ditch and hit a telephone pole.
    
The accident remains under investigation.
