Kody Leibowitz - WMDT 47 News - Delmarva's Choice

Hello, I'm Kody Leibowitz.  I joined the WMDT news team in August 2012 as a general assignment reporter and I am very excited to report for the entire Delmarva area!  

Before moving to Salisbury, I worked as a photojournalist for KHBS in Fort Smith, Arkansas, where I gained ample experience in news, sports and severe weather coverage.  I graduated from Penn State with a degree in broadcast journalism and minors in business and sports journalism.  During my time as a student, I completed a variety of internships, including:  Comcast Sportsnet-Philadelphia and WJAC.

Originally from Sarasota, Florida, it is nice to again be close to the beach!  I am an avid-sports fan, rooting for all professional Philadelphia teams, including my 76ers.  When I'm not at work, I like to play basketball, go to the beach, run and spend time with family and friends.
