Salisbury Hosts NYC Marathon Qualifier - WMDT 47 News - Delmarva's Choice

SALISBURY, Md - It was a big race day in Wicomico County.  The tourism department hosted the 3rd Annual Hidden Treasures Half Marathon and 5K Race.  In addition to the run, the event hosted a post-race block party, live music and medals to the winners of each race division.

"This event is something we look forward to every year," said Joan Wharton, Race Director. "It's the only half-marathon in the Salisbury area and what we want to do is bring the community together."    

The event is also a NYC Marathon Qualifier.
