Ocean City Excited For "Ping Pong Summer" Auditions

OCEAN CITY, Md. - It's happening right now - the auditions for Ping Pong Summer. 

People from all over the country are in Ocean City hoping to get their name called.  The film is casting a lead female to star alongside Susan Sarandon.  One local business owner, who has been talking to WMDT since the film's announcement, tells us what this means for the beach town.

"It is the beginning of a new season for Ocean City," said Joe Kro-Art, owner of Ocean Gallery.  "Ping Pong Summer which films from September to October. Susan Sarandon is live in OC and it's happening!"

Auditions are going on until 9 p.m. tonight at the Ocean City Holiday Inn off of 67th Street.
