Wicomico County Announces Upcoming Road Projects

SALISBURY, Md. - On Thursday the Wicomico County Department of Public Works announced a series of surfacing projects planned on area roads in the coming week. 

Paving is expected to begin on September 10th and will continue as weather permits on the following roads: Gills Lane, Firetower Road, Cherrywalk Road, Holloway Road, Riverton Road, Old Railroad Road, Log Cabin Road, and Crooked Oak Lane.

The Department of Public Works will work with the contractor to minimize traffic disruptions. No road closures are expected, however drivers should prepare for lane closures and flagging operations on these rural roads.
