SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man is behind bars after allegedly trying to break into an acquaintance's home.

A Oneida Avenue resident told the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office that a former acquaintance, 35-year-old Anthony Horton, came to her house, and kicked in her front door. Police say that he couldn't get in because of a chain that held the door together.

Deputies found Horton nearby, where they arrested and charged him with 3rd and 4th degree burglary and malicious destruction of property. He is being held on $25,000 bond at the Detention Center.
