Armed Robbery At the Centre Of Salisbury - WMDT 47 News - Delmarva's Choice

SALISBURY, Md. - On August 31, 2012 at approximately 4:00 officers of the Salisbury Police Department responded to the parking lot at the Centre of Salisbury in reference to an armed robbery. The investigation revealed that the victim agreed to meet an associate of his in the parking lot to receive money that he had loaned him. The victim got into the subject's vehicle at which time he displayed a handgun and demanded the victim's prescription medication. The subject grabbed the bottle of medication from the victim after a brief struggle. The victim exited the vehicle and notified police. The subject's name and vehicle description was broadcasted out to other officers who began searching for the area. A short time later an officer located the vehicle and subject at a convience store on Priscilla St. and took the subject into custody.  While processing the subject prescription medication and counterfeit currency was recovered. The victim was not injured.
