Troopers Investigating a Serious Crash

MAGNOLIA, Del. - The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred on Walnut Shade Road west of Rising Sun.

At 10:25 PM Friday night, Antoine D. Somerville was operating a 1997 Acura Integra eastbound on Walnut Shade Road just west of Autumn Moon Road. For unknown reasons, Somerville lost control of the vehicle which left the right side of the roadway and then came back across both lanes of Walnut Shade Road before leaving the left side of the roadway where the Integra struck a utility pole with the passenger's side.

Antoine D. Somerville, who was not properly restrained, was removed from the scene by emergency officials and transported to Kent General Hospital.

This incident is currently under investigation.
