Eight Arrests Made In Connection With Drug Ring

WILLARDS, Md. - Police have wrapped up a six month long investigation into reportedly fake prescriptions. The Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force says that they have been undercover investigating into forged and fraudulent prescriptions used to get Oxycondone.

Their investigation lead them to eight people in Pittsville and Willards who they say are principal players in the operation. Police arrested the following eight people on CDS possession with the intent to distribute, obtain CDS by forged prescription and CDS possession charges.

Brandon Ehrisman, 25, Joshua O'Brien, 25, John West, 35, and Victoria Smith, 21, all of Pittsville. Along with Dawn Miller, 45, and Matthew Wells, 22, both of Willards. Marion Lee Atkinson, 35, of Salisbury and Carrie Schwab, 23, of Nanticoke, were also arrested.

They are all being held at the Detention Center without bond.
