Greenwood Man Dead After Motorcycle Accident

GREENWOOD, Del. -- Delaware State police are currently investigating a motorcycle accident that left a Greenwood man dead.

They say it happened on Seashore Highway, just west of Greenwood around 9:30 Thursday night.

27 year old Jarrett Alvey Jr. lost control of his motorcycle, and traveled off the road, then hit a guardrail.

Police say he was wearing a helmet, but was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for four hours while the crash was cleared.
