Willie Morton
DELMAR, Md. - A Salisbury man is being held at the Detention Center after allegedly peeing in public while intoxicated.
The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office got called to the Country Inn in Delmar, after a reportedly drunken man, peed in the middle of the parking lot, while waving his hands and cursing. Employees reportedly told him to leave, at which time he threw an empty beer can to the ground, and moved on to a neighboring convenience store.
They say that once at the store, Willie Morton, 40, harassed patrons, and confronted an employee while reportedly pulling out a pocket knife. Police say that Morton then walked across Route 13, which caused several vehicles to stop so that they didn't hit him.
Police caught up with him on the East side of Route 13, they say he was incoherent and visibly intoxicated. They arrested him, charged him with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, indecent exposure, and endanger others while intoxicated. Morton is being held without bond.
