
DOVER, Del. - A Dover convenient store was robbed on Tuesday evening and police are searching for the suspects. Delaware State Police tells us that a little after 8:30 PM, two black males, with their faces covered, one with a knife and one with a gun, walked into the Goose Creek Food Store on East Lebanon Road.
Their investigation showed that one of the men jumped the counter and started taking cigars and cigarettes, while the other one confronted the 27-year-old male employee, and demanded money. Police say the clerk gave them money, and the two fled in a light blue car, that was being driven by a third suspect. They were reportedly last seen driving East on East Lebanon Road and then North on US 113.
Both suspects are believed to be between the ages of 17 and 20, weighting around 160 pounds. Suspect one is described as 5' 6' - 5' 7" tall, last seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, white sneakers, a white bandana on his face, and armed with a knife. Suspect two is described as 5' 8" - 5' 9" tall, wearing a light brown hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jeans, with a dark bandana covering his face, and armed with a handgun.
