OCEAN VIEW, Del. - The identity of the man allegedly involved in a four-hour standoff with police in an Ocean View home late Monday night has been released.
Joshua Howard, 26, now faces a number of charges, including terroristic threatening, third-degree assault, two counts of offensive touching and criminal mischief. Police say he was intoxicated, which lead to a fight with his girlfriend. When she called a friend for help, Howard allegedly slapped the man and kicked both of them out.
He then barricaded himself inside the Bethany Bay Condo. They called officers and told them he had access to weapons. However, when troopers finally made entry into the home, they didn't find any. Howard was arrested a little before 11 p.m.
