Attempted Murder Charges After An Argument Allegedly Turned Physical

HEBRON, Md. - A Hebron man is behind bars after allegedly putting a gun to a woman's head. On August 19th the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office started an investigation into a fight between two people on North Main Street in Hebron.

The victim told police that 25-year-old Anthony Vincent, and the victim were arguing, but it turned physical and Vincent punched her in the face. They say he then held a gun to her head a pulled the trigger, however the gun did not fire. She told police she believed that he was going to kill her.

Police searched the residence on August 24th to find the gun. They arrested Vincent, charged him with attempted 1st degree murder, 1st degree assault, and reckless endangerment. He is being held without bond at the Detention Center.
