SALISBURY, Md. - A shooting investigation is underway after gunfire rang out in Salisbury early Tuesday morning. Police say it happened on the 600 block of South Westover Drive just before 2:30 a.m. The victim told cops he was sitting in his living room when a bullet struck his leg.
"Unknown suspects approached the front door of the residence, tried to get their attention by knocking at the door, ultimately fired a number of shots at the front door, one of which hit the victim and caused injury," said Sgt. David Owens, of the Wicomico Bureau of Investigations.
