5 Hour Standoff Ends As Police Take Subject Into Custody

MILLVILLE, Del. - A tense situation in Millville is now over.  On Monday evening Delaware State Police ended a 5 hour stand-off at the Bethany Bay Condos, where a man barricaded himself inside a unit.

The Special Operations Team took down the front door of the unit with a robot and they now have the suspect in custody,

According to officials the incident began at 6PM with a domestic dispute, but few details have been released on this at this time.

Troopers evacuated several condominiums in the area as a precaution.  We're told no one was injured and,although they can't confirm it, police say they have reason to believe the suspect may have been armed and dangerous.
