Scrap Metal Surveillance Footage Leads To Arrest

SALISBURY, Md. - A man has been arrested after allegedly stealing car batteries from a commercial property.

According to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, Terry Wright, 52, of Salisbury, took three car batteries out of the engine bay of three separate work trucks on West Road.

A scrap recycler, said that they had bought the three batteries from Wright, and surveillance video confirmed.

Wright was arrested, charged with theft under $1,000, and is now being held on $5,000 bond and the Detention Center.
