Suspect Wanted In Connection With A 2011 Homicide

ACCOMACK CO., Md. - The search is on for a murder suspect in Accomack County.

A grand jury indicted 19 year old Tyvon Smith Monday. Police say he goes by the name "Teddy."   

Smith is wanted in connection with the homicide of Belarmino Escalante, who was killed during an attempted robbery in the Royal Farm Parking lot last July.

Smith is being sought on charges of 1st degree murder, use of firearm in commission of murder, attempted robbery, use of firearm in commission of attempted robbery and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.
