DOVER, Del. - Three employees of a daycare face serious allegations after allowing a fight between two toddlers continue under their supervision.

19-year-old Tiana Harris, 21-year-old Estefania Myers and 47-year-old Lisa Parker have been charged with assault, child endangerment and other offenses. They are accused of encouraging two 3-year-old boys to fight each other at the Hands Of Our Future Daycare in Dover back in March.

"One of the children grabbed the other one. He started yelling, and the comment - one of the adults said, 'no pinching, only punching.'" Operations Division Commander of the Dover Police Department Captain Tim Stump said.

A cell phone video handed over to a police officer 5 months later, reportedly shows the boys pinching, punching and pushing each other into tables. Police say they were clearly in pain. "While there was no serious physical injury, they were clearly hurting each other. One of the kids was clearly crying, extremely upset about what was going on, but was basically pushed back in to continue on," Captain Stump said.

Officials invited parents and guardians to the police department to inform them of the situation. Amy Bickling says she's shocked. "He's never come home with any kind of bruise or anything like that. I never saw any of them do anything inappropriate. They were always really good to my son. It's very disturbing to think that something like that may have gone on," she said. She says she's sad for her 4-year-old son because all of his friends attend that school. "It's been a good experience for my son. He's learned a lot there, so I just don't know what to think right now."

Cristyl Slack's 4-year-old daughter was one of the 9 children in the room at the time of the incident. "That pissed me off. Just because I feel as though my daughter is around anything, I should've known that day. I don't think I should had to waited months," she said. She says she never saw this coming. "I've known them my entire life - like loved them to death. They are wonderful girls that work at that daycare. They have been watching my kids their entire lives and I never had any problems there ever," she said.

The daycare's license has been temporarily suspended.
