Who Will Take The Win For The BMX Vert Competition

OCEAN CITY, Md. - BMX bikers pedaled their way to a win Friday night at the Dew Tour. They're competing in the BMX Vert Competition, as well as a new event called the Mega 2.0. WMDT caught up with silver and bronze medalist, Steve McCann, who moved to the U.S. from Australia 12 years ago, and has been competing ever since. McCann tells it's all about hops, the higher you go, the better your score.

"In Mega 2.0, you have two obstacles: you have the jump and the quarter pipe. Now the quarter pipe is judged fairly heavy in that event, but you also need a big trick and jump to get a big score, so you need both," said McCann.

Last year, McCann placed 4th, and says he's determined to be the first person to take home the gold in the Mega 2.0.
