OCEAN CITY, Md. - The High flying jumps and stunts continued Friday at the dew tour. WMDT's Alyana Gomez took to the sands to judge a new sport, called slack lining. The idea all originated from rock climbing. It looks similar to that of a tight rope, but this puts balance and movement to the ultimate test. Competitor Josh Greenwood has been slack lining for three years now, and says doing it on the sand makes it that much more difficult.
"It's basically a two inch trampoline now. It's really bouncy, you do tons of aerial tricks and stuff like that, as well as static tricks. It's a physically demanding sport as well as a mentally demanding sport," said Josh Greenwood, Slacklining Competitor.
Eight competitors had two minutes to show off their skills, but only four moved on, including Greenwood. You can catch the final round Saturday at 5 PM.
