SALISBURY, Md. - A man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a Salisbury home and making himself dinner. It all happened Wednesday night around 10:20 PM. A homeowner reportedly called and said that someone was trying to beat down the door of his home, he waited upstairs after calling police.
According to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, when the arrived on scene, 22-year-old Russell Neff of Salisbury, sitting in living room, in his underwear, licking the remote control. Neff was also believed to be cooking a chicken pot pie that he found in the kitchen.
When the deputy tried to arrest him, he apparently struggled and resisted, before the deputies were able to handcuff and arrest him. Neff was charged with 1st degree burglary, theft of a chicken pot pie, malicious destruction of property, and resisting arrest. He is being held at the Detention Center on $250,000 bond.
