Strong Armed Robbery at Salisbury WaWa

SALISBURY, MD- Salisbury Police are on the hunt for a man who robbed the Salisbury WaWa located at 668 South Salisbury Boulevard.

On Friday evening at approximately 7:45 PM, officers of the Salisbury Police Department responded to the South Salisbury Wawa in reference to a strong armed robbery.

A Loomis Armored Service Technician entered the business with a sum of currency. The technician began refilling the ATM inside the business when an unknown subject grabbed an undisclosed amount of currency from the technician. Then the suspect fled from the store and left on foot towards Waverly Drive and Florida Avenue.

The technician was not injured during the incident.

 

The suspect is described as a Black Male, 5'10", 220 lbs and appeared to be in his late 30's through early 40's years of age. The suspect was wearing a vertical blue striped shirt, dark and long baggie shorts, white shoes and a dark-colored baseball hat, which was recovered at the scene.
