
OCEAN PINES, Md. - A new off-leash dog park is set to open this Wednesday, August 15th. Beginning at 9 AM all four-legged friends can come help celebrate the ribbon cutting of the "Ocean Pines Dog Park," with light refreshments to follow.
It's located in Manklin Meadows Recreation Complex in the South Gate. The park will have two sections, one for larger dogs, and one for smaller.
The Recreation and Parks Department will also start accepting membership registration that day. The cost of the annual dog tag-pass is $25 for residents and $50 for non-residents. One additional dog may be registers at the same time, for $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents.
After the ribbon cutting, owners can register their dogs at the Ocean Pines Community Center with the Recreation and Parks personnel.
