Demolition On Feldman's Building Starts In Salisbury - WMDT 47 News - Delmarva's Choice

SALISBURY, Md. - The old Feldman's building in Downtown Salisbury is coming down. Demolition began today. Just a few weeks ago, it was announced, after job is finished, construction workers will start putting up "the River View Commons, a new mixed-use building.

Now the question is, how long will the process take? "We are going through a uh very slow process of the demolition, when we expose the remaining 3 story historic structure, we will then develop architectural drawings for historic commissioner approval."

Because of the history behind the buildings there will only be select demolition. They expect that phase to be complete within 30 to 45 days. The final project is expected to be complete within the year.
