Rehoboth House Destroyed After Lighting Strike

DELAWARE, Del. - A fire has caused an estimated $600,000 in damages in Rehoboth Beach. The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office reports that the fire broke out around 8 AM on Wednesday, August 8th. The Prospect Street home was unoccupied at the time of the fire, so no injuries were reported. An investigation showed that the fire started in the utility storage room after a bolt of lighting struck it.
