
Jack Oakie LoweSALISBURY, Md. - Jack Oakie Lowe, 52 of Salisbury, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late William "Midget" Lowe Sr. and Naomi L. Lowe. Jack was a graduate of James M. Bennett High School in Salisbury. He loved to work on cars and watch NASCAR. He enjoyed traveling and vacationing in Ocean City, Maryland. He also recently accepted the Lord and Savior Jesus back into his life; going to church on Sunday's was the highlight of his week.
He is survived by his children, Jackie Lowe of Parsonsburg and Jamie Banks of Silver Spring, MD; grandchildren, Kinslee Lowe, Camille and Cameron Anderson; sisters and brothers, Sandra Grim and her husband, Don of Salisbury, Debbie Collins and her husband, Grover of Newark, MD, Bill Lowe and Carol of Salisbury and Greg Lowe of Salisbury, his ex-wife, Sue Adkins of Salisbury, former brother-in-law, Ed Watson, and sister-in-law, Kathy Lowe, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert "Bobby" Lowe.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 2 PM at Kleg Grange Fellowship Church in Pocomoke City. Pastor Donald I. Bailey will officiate. A celebration of his life will follow. "Because I am in Christ, I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. All things have become new."
