Assault At A Motel Lands One In Jail

SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man is behind bars after he allegedly beat up his Temple Hill Motel neighbor. It all happened on Tuesday, August 7th on South Salisbury Boulevard. Authorities from the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office say they found the victim unconscious in a room.

Witnesses said the fight, between 21-year-old Macario Genaro and the victim, took place in the parking lot, where Police say they found a pair of brass knuckles, that were used during the assault.

The victim had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. Genaro was arrested, charged with 1st and 2nd degree assault, dangerous weapon, and other related offences. He is being held at the Detention Center on $150,000 bond.
