BERLIN, Md. - Alice A. Warfield, 90, longtime resident of the Berlin Nursing Home and Rehab, entered God's Kingdom on Thursday, August 2, 2012. Born on April 21, 1922 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Seebo) Swigert. Alice will be remembered as an excellent homemaker, cook, and her love for crocheting. She was employed for a time at the Bendix Corporation in the 1940's and later worked for O.T. Smith Banking Stationary Company in Baltimore a work experience she particularly enjoyed. Like so many of her generation, she and her family experienced the ramifications of the Great Depression and WWII.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by three sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by her only daughter; Alice W. Kilgour and her husband Wm. Jourdan of Salisbury, two grandsons; Jeffrey Scott Kilgour and his wife Betsy of Mt. Airy, MD and John David Kilgour of Pittsville, two great-grandchildren; Ashleigh Jeane Kilgour and Alexander Garrett Kilgour, a special niece; Mildred Clark and her former husband, John O. Warfield.

A private graveside service will be held at Lorraine Park Cemetery in Baltimore.
