OCEAN CITY, Md. - Four suspects are in custody after allegedly committing an armed robbery and leading police on a high speed chase.
On Friday, August 3rd, Ocean City Police received a report of an armed robbery with shots fired in the area of Rt. 50 and Rt. 589. The suspects fled the scene heading east on Rt. 50 in a blue Chevrolet with Pennsylvania registration.
During a brief pursuit, the suspect vehicle reached high speed and eventually struck another vehicle in the 10th block of 120th Street while attempting to turn right. The four suspects then fled the scene of the crash on foot, but were apprehended moments later by officers and bystanders.
The suspects were identified as one female juvenile, Sarah Jean Gryskevicz, 19, of Wilkesbarre, PA, Antonio Lee Suarez, 18, of Allentown, PA, and Payne Stewart Prasnikar, 21, of Stillwater, PA. During the initial investigation, officers learned that the vehicle was stolen yesterday in a robbery in Pennsylvania.
The case is still under investigation. Charges are pending from both the Ocean City Police Department and the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation.
