Helen Izette Stone Cast - WMDT 47 News - Delmarva's Choice

POCOMOKE CITY, Md. - Helen Izette Stone Cast, 80, of Pocomoke City, Maryland died peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Born Wednesday, November 25, 1931, she was the last surviving of three children of the late William and Bernice Virginia Blankenbeckler Stone and the wife of Franklin Duane "Pete" Cast who preceded her in death on March 28, 2005 after 56 years of marriage.

Surviving are two daughters, Karen Cast Garner of Woolford, VA and Doris Cast Glovier, and her husband George, of Pocomoke City, MD; one son Robert D. Cast ,and his wife Vanessa, of East Rockaway, NY; 7 grand children, Christopher Garner, Joseph Garner and his wife Holly, Bethany Miller and her husband Tim, and Kara Garner, Jason Glovier and his wife Camilla and Emily Glovier Rantz and her husband Ryan and Brian Cast; 14 great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke City where family and friends will gather one half hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in First Baptist Cemetery, Pocomoke City. If desired contributions in her memory can be made to the Samaritan Shelter, 814 Fourth St., Pocomoke City, MD 21851.
