DOVER, Del. (AP) - A former Delaware pediatrician serving a life sentence for sexually abusing scores of young patients has written a letter to the state's Supreme Court, weeks before the high court is to review his conviction.
The (Wilmington) News Journal reported Thursday (http://delonline.us/T4IYfM) that it had obtained a copy of the 16-page handwritten letter. The newspaper reported that Bradley bypassed his attorneys and wrote directly to the court spelling out what he thought was wrong with a police search that turned up videos of him molesting children.
The court forwarded copies to attorneys, advising Bradley's attorneys that correspondence should be done through his attorneys.
Public defender Robert Goff, who has represented Bradley, did not immediately respond to a telephone message left by The Associated Press seeking comment on the letter.
