SNOW HILL, Md. - New details on those human remains found in Snow Hill on Sunday. Police are tight-lipped about the case until they get more information from the medical examiner's officer, but say they suspect no foul play. Investigators tell WMDT that the remains appeared to be badly decomposed, and they can't say whether the body was that of a man or woman. The skull was found in a water filled ditch on Woodland Court, and the rest of the remains were discovered nearby.
"There was a small portion of the body that was detached, however, it was possible due to the amount of time the remains had been in the location," said Sgt. Scott Brent, Supervisor of the Worcester County Bureau Of Investigations.@
Investigators say determining the cause of death will take some time, due to decomposition. However, they hope to have the identify the body within the next few days.
