CRISFIELD, Md. - A man is dead after being stabbed, during an alleged fight at a motel. Crisfield Police say that they arrived at the Pines Motel where a man was laying on the 2nd floor landing, with two stab wounds.
Officers took John Hill Jr., into custody, after witnesses reportedly identified him. The victim, Aaron Culbertson, 42, of Crisfield, was rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His body is now at the Medical Examiner's Office in Baltimore for autopsy.
Police say that the two men were arguing, which turned physical, when Hill grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim.
Hill has been charged with 1st and 2nd degree murder, manslaughter, dangerous weapon with intent to injure, along with other related offences. He is currently being held without bond at the Somerset County Detention Center.
Police say this is the first murder in Crisfield since 2005.
