HARRINGTON, Del. - Canines took the spotlight in Harrington on Saturday. Animal lovers enjoyed the "Meet The Breeds Dog Show" and you can guess from the name of the event, folks had the chance to learn about 20 to 25 different breeds from the very people who work with them.
There were several demos including obedience, canine good citizen and pet therapy.
Cynthia Martin's 2-and-a-half-year-old Irish Wolf Hounds were a big hit. "Angel and Rowen are K9 good citizens. They both participate in pet therapy programs, they are very gentle with my grandchildren and niece, and we're just hear to spread the good word about the wonderful world of dogs."
Well, the dog days of summer are here.
